By the end of term last year, the beaver colony hit full capacity which is a first for many years and is absolutly great news.
The beavers didnt have summer camp this yearbut did enjoy meeting up with the cubs on their summer camp up at 'Court Hill' playing cowboys and indians, getting on thier war paint beforeheading into the woods with the cubs to have thier water pistol fight and enjoyeda bbq to go with it.
'Wide Games' were also played with a very large parachute which keeps the beaver very active.
Looking ahead to the new term. The schedule should now have gone out to all the parents, if you have not received a copy or would like to see what the beavers typically get up to <click here> to view thier programme of activities
As a beaver, the primary goal is to get them to respect them selves, but more importantly - others, and to let them experience and gain an insight into new skills prior to moving up to the cubs. Most of all to have fun and make it enjoyable, which 1st Cuckhamsley prides itselve on.
