A quick introduction from the GSL (Group Scout leader)

I would like to welcome you to the 1st Cuckhamsley website aimed at providing the neccessary information needed to support the group. Here, yo can find all the information you need for parents wishing to enrole thier children for the first time into beaver scouts or further inforrmation about the group in general.

I took the opportunity over the summer in helping with the cub camp playing indians, building teepee's, not to mention the beavers joing them for an evening for a water pistol fight. I also spent a day with the scouts on thier camp in Almondsbury, Bristol, where I got to experience thier water slide techniques (its surpirsing what a piece of PVC ,a bit of washing up liquid and a bucket of water can do !!!

As a group were also looking for volunteers who can help with getting involved with any of the groups either by a hands-on approach or by helping the leaders in the background with the administrative side. Its a very good opportunity to understand what scouting is all about with exciting times ahead. For further details select the link below
